New Holes vs Old Holes

Post  VictoriaPhibes on Mon Jun 06, 2011 4:05 pm

Mel:

Is there any advantage that you can see in the old holes (straight in) vs the new holes (slanted to the side)? I love my Lunette, but liked the review you did on the new Femmecup (with shorter stem), so I thought I'd try one. Just wanting your opinion.

Cheers,
Mary~

maybe they're a bit less likely to leak/let water in while swimming? don't know. clear cups stain easier and i love the normal holes in my meluna and lunette because they're easier to clean:)

Cup Holes

I'll have to go with you on that one. The Femmecup is VERY comfortable, but it didn't hold as much as my Lunette, so I'm going to be going back to my Lunette again, I think.

I think the slanted holes also help with suction and its release. But often, the slant has a lot to do with design. If a company's cup matches another too much in design. there can be legal issues. So some companies will make their holes slant in various directions.
